Waste time at work on Halloween
Greg Gilmore's sister sent this to me months ago. You're supposed to figure out the dark/scary movie titles from the clues in the painting. I thought it seemed appropriate for Halloween. I've only gotten about 37 out of 50. Give it a try and let everybody know how you do.

I figured out 40 of them
Did you figure out the following: (I couldn't)
1. The Grimm Reaper in the circle fence
2. The pile of Jack o lanterns near the steps
3. the man in the house looking out into a scope
4. the nun looking lady with the barrel of water
5. the two shovels inside the orange circle
6. the weird orange fish in the bottom left corner
7. the mountain
8. the green m&m coming down the steps
9. I could not even find the other two??????
1. No, that' one's stumping me.
2. I got this one. The pumpkins aren't a part of the name. They just kind of imply it. Think about when you mainly see Jack O' Lanterns.
3. Yeah, this one was confusing. It's more of a scene from a movie than an allusion to the title. It's a classic Alfred Hitchcock film.
4. This one seems like it should be easy, but I can't get it.
5. No idea.
6. Got this one. It's a not very popular B movie from the 70's. See if you can think of what kind of fish that is.
7. Couldn't get it.
8. No idea. I kept thinking Devil In The Blue Dress, but that isn't it.
9. I'll have to go back and see if I can find all 50. It seems like I was missing a couple too.

Well, the lady has nothing to do with it.
And the hole or cave looking think near the large fish is a clue.
And the green m&m one isn't all of the clue, the stairs have something to do with it too, I thought it was "The Descent" but it is not.
I'm addicted to this now I HAVE to get them ALL!!!
I'm up to 44 now.
I figured out the mountain. If it helps, this one was also a tv show.

Still no idea on the M&M withe dress on the stairs.
I also can't get the one with the lady and the two kids.
Okay, it has only taken me three days to figure out 49.
M&M on the stairs--think of what she is wearing (hint: Lynch)
Lady with 2 kids--what would her kids call her? (hint: with a British accent)
My last one is the guy bound up at the bottom. I'm stuck.

The guy bound up - he's obviously in a striaght jacket, implying he's crazy. What's another name for a crazy person?
Okay, I've gotten 49 out of 50. I can't figure out that Grim Reaper figure in the circle fence for anything.
I had to cheat a little on one of them. I had no idea what the steps were, so I did a Netflix search on movies with "steps" in the title. The answer was a movie I'd never heard of, so if I hadn't cheated I would have never figured it out.
Egads, I'm an idiot!!!!
My final time was 28:42. I received very polite applause. Shout out to Patrick for the final Hitchcock clue.
It's hard to give a hint to the Grim Reaper one, but here it is:

The name of the fish is the name of the movie. And the fish is a man-eater.
Did you find the clue up in the top right hand corner?
I got the pirana but not the orange one in the bottom corner.
I only have that one left, the green m&m and the mountain.
Which corner? The one with the "black lagoon?"
With the mountain, notice that there's actually two mountains. And this movie was a tv show before it was a movie.
The gren m&m is about what she's wearing. What color it is and what it's made of.
Not into scary movies so I am clueless. Looking at it makes me feel stupid & stresses me out. What kinda time do you people have on your hands? I must say I am very impressed.
I solved the puzzle in 54 minutes over about five days. So, that means I spent about ten minutes on it a day. It made for a nice break at work.
